Is it easier to work with the bookmarks yet?

Hi all,
I am facing a problem with Firefox browser. I am getting a dialogue box of a message like:
Firefox Mozilla Crash and Restart Mozilla Firefox.
This message comes when I open 5 or 6 websites in new tabs.
can anyone provide me the permanantly solution to this problem.

Not sure if you're facing this error with that VERY OLD beta version of FFox (3.1 beta 2)??

While working towards a permanent solution:
1. Are you using the above mentioned Beta? They are buggy to begin with, so it's advisable to use there latest stable release (3.5.4 as of 29 Oct 2009).

2. Have you noticed if the 5/6 tabs are the same websites each time that cause the crash? It could be that those websites are corrupt.

3. Is it only 5/6 tabs? What about 3/4 or even 8/9? It could be memory related to your PC, i.e. do you have 256mb or 512mb? Are they the same brand of hardware?

4. Do you have the latest FFox plugin patches i.e. for Java (1.6.16) and Flash (10.32.18)??

5. Does the same 5/6 tabs crash in IE7 or IE8?

Let us know how you go.
